At-Takwir (Wound Round and Lost its Light) - سورة التكوير

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    81:1

    Play

    إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ

    When the sun is rolled.

    81:2

    Play

    وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ (۲)

    The stars are crashed into each other.

    81:3

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ (۳)

    The mountains are wiped out.

    81:4

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ (٤)

    The reproduction is halted.

    81:5

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ (۵)

    The beasts are summoned.

    81:6

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ (٦)

    The oceans are set aflame.

    81:7

    Play

    وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ (۷)

    The souls are restored to their bodies.

    81:8

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ (۸)

    The girl who was buried alive is asked:

    81:9

    Play

    بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ (۹)

    For what crime was she killed?

    81:10

    Play

    وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ (۱۰)

    The records are made known.

    81:11

    Play

    وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ (۱۱)

    The heaven is removed.

    81:12

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ (۱۲)

    Hell is ignited.

    81:13

    Play

    وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ (۱۳)

    Paradise is presented.

    81:14

    Play

    عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ (۱٤)

    Every soul will know everything it brought.

    81:15

    Play

    فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ (۱۵)

    I solemnly swear by the galaxies.

    81:16

    Play

    الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ (۱٦)

    Precisely running in their orbits.

    81:17

    Play

    وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ (۱۷)

    By the night as it falls.

    81:18

    Play

    وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ (۱۸)

    And the morn as it breathes.

    81:19

    Play

    إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ (۱۹)

    This is the utterance of an honorable messenger.

    81:20

    Play

    ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ (۲۰)

    Authorized by the Possessor of the Throne, fully supported.

    81:21

    Play

    مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ (۲۱)

    He shall be obeyed and trusted.

    81:22

    Play

    وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُونٍ (۲۲)

    Your friend (Rashad) is not crazy.

    81:23

    Play

    وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ (۲۳)

    He saw him at the high horizon.

    81:24

    Play

    وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ (۲٤)

    He is not holding back any news.

    81:25

    Play

    وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ (۲۵)

    It is not the talk of a rejected devil.

    81:26

    Play

    فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ (۲٦)

    Now then, where will you go?

    81:27

    Play

    إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ (۲۷)

    This is a message for all the people.

    81:28

    Play

    لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيمَ (۲۸)

    For those who wish to go straight.

    81:29

    Play

    وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ (۲۹)

    Whatever you will is in accordance with the will of GOD, Lord of the universe.
