GeorgianAl-Fajr ( The Break of Day or The Dawn) - سورة الفجر
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
هَلْ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذِي حِجْرٍ (۵)
A profound oath, for one who possesses intelligence.
وَثَمُودَ الَّذِينَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ (۹)
Also Thamoud, who carved the rocks in their valley.
فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ (۱۳)
Consequently, your Lord poured upon them a whipping retribution.
فَأَمَّا الْإِنْسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ (۱۵)
When the human being is tested by his Lord, through blessings and joy, he says, "My Lord is generous towards me."
وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ (۱٦)
But if He tests him through reduction in provisions, he says, "My Lord is humiliating me!"
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ لَا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ (۱۷)
Wrong! It is you who brought it on yourselves by not regarding the orphan.
وَلَا تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (۱۸)
And not advocating charity towards the poor.
وَتَأْكُلُونَ التُّرَاثَ أَكْلًا لَمًّا (۱۹)
And consuming the inheritance of helpless orphans.
كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا (۲۱)
Indeed, when the earth is crushed, utterly crushed.
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا (۲۲)
And your Lord comes, together with the angels in row after row.
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ (۲۳)
On that day, Gehenna will be brought forth. On that day, the human being will remember - but what a remembrance - it will be too late.
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي (۲٤)
He will say, "Oh, I wish I prepared for my (eternal) life."
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ (۲۵)
On that day, no retribution could be worse than His retribution.
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ (۲٦)
And no confinement is as effective as His confinement.
ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً (۲۸)
Return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing.
