Al-Adiyat (Those That Run) - سورة العاديات

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    100:1

    Play

    وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا

    By the fast gallopers.

    100:2

    Play

    فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا (۲)

    Igniting sparks.

    100:3

    Play

    فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا (۳)

    Invading (the enemy) by morning.

    100:4

    Play

    فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا (٤)

    Striking terror therein.

    100:5

    Play

    فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا (۵)

    Penetrating to the heart of their territory.

    100:6

    Play

    إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ (٦)

    The human being is unappreciative of his Lord.

    100:7

    Play

    وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ (۷)

    He bears witness to this fact.

    100:8

    Play

    وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ (۸)

    He loves material things excessively.

    100:9

    Play

    أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ (۹)

    Does he not realize that the day will come when the graves are opened?

    100:10

    Play

    وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ (۱۰)

    And all secrets are brought out.

    100:11

    Play

    إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ (۱۱)

    They will find out, on that day, that their Lord has been fully Cognizant of them.
