At-Takathur (The Piling Up) - سورة التكاثر

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    102:1

    Play

    أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ

    You remain preoccupied with hoarding.

    102:2

    Play

    حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ (۲)

    Until you go to the graves.

    102:3

    Play

    كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ (۳)

    Indeed, you will find out.

    102:4

    Play

    ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ (٤)

    Most assuredly, you will find out.

    102:5

    Play

    كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ (۵)

    If only you could find out for certain.

    102:6

    Play

    لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ (٦)

    You would envision Hell.

    102:7

    Play

    ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ (۷)

    Then you would see it with the eye of certainty.

    102:8

    Play

    ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ (۸)

    Then you will be questioned, on that day, about the blessings you had enjoyed.
