وَالْعَصْرِ
By the afternoon.
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ (۲)
The human being is utterly lost.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ (۳)
Except those who believe and lead a righteous life, and exhort one another to uphold the truth, and exhort one another to be steadfast.
