Al-fil (The Elephant) - سورة الفيل

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    105:1

    Play

    أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ

    Have you noted what your Lord did to the people of the elephant?

    105:2

    Play

    أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ (۲)

    Did He not cause their schemes to backfire?

    105:3

    Play

    وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ (۳)

    He sent upon them swarms of birds.

    105:4

    Play

    تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ (٤)

    That showered them with hard stones.

    105:5

    Play

    فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ (۵)

    He made them like chewed up hay.
