Al-Zalzala (The Earthquake) - سورة الزلزلة

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    99:1

    Play

    إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

    When the earth is severely quaked.

    99:2

    Play

    وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا (۲)

    And the earth ejects its loads.

    99:3

    Play

    وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا (۳)

    The human will wonder: "What is happening?"

    99:4

    Play

    يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا (٤)

    On that day, it will tell its news.

    99:5

    Play

    بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا (۵)

    That your Lord has commanded it.

    99:6

    Play

    يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ (٦)

    On that day, the people will issue from every direction, to be shown their works.

    99:7

    Play

    فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ (۷)

    Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.

    99:8

    Play

    وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ (۸)

    And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
